Hi Tony,

Thanks for the feedback. I use 101domain.com as a registrar only. It looks like icdsoft.com registers but mainly provides hosting services. One danger of using a single provider as host and registrar is if there are problems with the hosting services, then you have to wait for the company to take action. However, if my host has problems that aren't getting resolved, I can quickly get a new host, configure settings, and then tell my domain registrar to switch primary nameservers. This gives me flexibility and a greater degree of control. The cost is not much ($10/year) per domain to do things this way.

Cheers, Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I have been a user of www.icdsoft.com for many years now. I'm not really sure what differentiates domain providers, but I have found their offering to be great value, and their support assistance to be exceptional. Without fail, they have responded to my requests for assistance very quickly and with appropriate answers.
You might like to give them a try sometime.
Best wishes,
Tony
