Organizations of Interest & Finance

This page is for organizations to watch, based on my own analysis. This is not meant to be an actual endorsement for what people should do with their money. Rather it is a means to think about organizations, their strengths and relative positions.

Instead of buy, hold and sell I have a simple list. Buy, hold, and sell is based more on relative value to a stock price than as a measure of a company in terms of its place in a market. Some companies have attractive markets, and even attractive strategies, but can’t quite execute or something else disruptive takes place. As well, some companies have less growth but less risk, and other advantages, such as Microsoft becoming a dividend stock.

In addition, some company’s stocks are not available, even on secondary markets. Still, those are included here as it is not the availability of the investment opportunity which is important to the analysis.

Finally, some of these organizations offer investment products or services, such as Black Rock, Pimco and Saxobank. I have come to realize that finance and investment is becoming my next interest and will be the next career move, after creating the capital needed (in about 5 years).
