WinDoze Programs and Utilities

Likely not new to many, but these I just ran across or recently revisited and are exceptionally useful.

Certainly they are free, some are even opensource.

MemPad a simple, configurable, text editor with index tree, multiple files, fast (may be as useful as Notepad2)
Qlock a world clock with lots of customizable stuff
Amazon S3 Tools
Microsoft SyncToy for synchronizing between Windows machines
VNC (now renamed RealVNC), tha great remote screen tool, still a free version available, but better to go with TightVNC the open source project
FileZilla FTP (now with v.3 in beta7 if you are looking for that sort of thing) as well as FileZilla Portable (for the thumbdrive)
Putty the Telnet/SSH (and SFTP, etc.) command-line clients
Cygwin utilities
